This address can be used as the invoice address, and as the return address for orders. For more information on returns, reference is made to our Return Policy.

 

About these general terms and conditions

These conditions apply to all orders. Every order implies the explicit acceptance of these sales conditions.

The minimum age to place orders with us is 18 years. If you have not reached the age of 18 yet, we kindly request you to ask your parents or legal guardian to place the order. If we notice an order is being placed by a minor, we retain the right to refuse this order.

 

Placing your order

You may place an order by filling in the order form on the website: www.coquettestore.be.

When you place your order, you will receive a web order number.

By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected on these terms and conditions. We may not accept your offer at our discretion.

In case we accept your order, we will notify you by sending you an order confirmation by email. This confirmation is binding the moment we send it to you.

Price

Our prices are mentioned in euro, VAT included and shipping costs excluded (and if applicable, handling costs excluded) unless mentioned otherwise.

The prices are valid on the moment of publication, where after they are subject to changes.

 

Payment

Payment can be done through any of the payment methods mentioned on the website.

Coquette stays the owner of the goods until you have paid them completely.

 

Cancellation of orders

In case of a cancellation of an accepted order, the customer shall have to pay for all costs that we have incurred due to the cancellation (e.g. delivery costs, administration costs,..)

Warranty
* Coquette's jewellery is fantasy jewellery made with great care. If something does appear to be wrong with the jewellery, the customer can return it within 14 days of receipt. 
* There is no guarantee on colouring of metal parts. This colouring is natural and depends on the acidity of your skin. To prevent discolouration and damage, best make sure the jewellery does not come into contact with water, detergent or perfume. It is best to take the jewellery off when you go to sleep.
* Coquette does not guarantee other accessories or gadgets. If any damage should occur, we should contact the supplier first.

 

Delivery

The products are delivered via a courier service at the choice of Coquette. The terms and conditions of delivery shall be mutually agreed by the parties. The customer must ensure that personal delivery of the products is possible at the place communicated by the customer for delivery. The customer is responsible for all costs and damages if personal delivery is impossible. The customer can indicate another place of choice where the products can be delivered (e.g. to the neighbors, to a sheltered place, etc.). The delivery is considered validly made by Coquette if the products are delivered in accordance with the customer's indicated choice.

 

Complaints

You will inform us in writing of any complaints regarding shortages or damage of the products within 14 days as from receiving the products and await further instructions from us on what to do with the products. After the aforementioned term, the products will be considered to be in accordance with the agreed order and irrevocably accepted by you. The sole remedy for the customer in case the product is not in conformity, will consist of replacing these products at no cost or returning the amount paid, according to our exclusive decision and after returning these products in accordance with our guidelines.

 

Prices 

Our prices (incl. VAT and shipping costs) are displayed on the website in euro. Custom duties are not included in such prices and will be charged additionally.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change the prices displayed on the website at any time (except for already placed and accepted orders).

 

Retention right

The delivered products remain the property of Coquette as long as the full price has not been paid. Coquette reserves the right to retrieve the products in the event of late or non-payment by the customer.

 

Withdrawal right

In case the customer is a natural person-consumer, he or she has the right to revoke the agreement within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the products. The burden of proof for the timely exercise of the right of withdrawal lies with the customer. We explicitly ask you to complete and send the enclosed return form. The products shall be returned in perfect condition in their original packaging. If a product is sent back and it appears to be damaged, Coquette can claim compensation from the consumer that is proportional to the depreciation that the product has undergone. Any return of which the sender cannot be identified will be refused. The costs of the return shipment and the risk shall be borne by the customer. Coquette recommends that a courier service be used when returning products in order to be able to track the parcel via a Track and Trace number. Coquette cannot be held responsible for the repayment of goods that are lost, stolen or damaged. The refund will be made within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the returned products by Coquette, provided that all conditions as described above are strictly met. The above right of withdrawal does not apply if the customer is a legal entity.

 

Settlement of complaints

In case you do have complaints about our services, do not hesitate to contact us via shop@coquettestore.be. We will do everything in our power to treat your complaint within 7 workdays.

 

Force Majeure

Coquette cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or other disadvantages incurred by the customer, caused by any circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, an act of a third party, default or late compliance of suppliers or sub-contractors, strikes, transport disruptions, imposed government restrictions.

 

Liability

Coquette can only be held liable for damage suffered by the customer if such damage is directly and exclusively resulting out of a proven shortcoming on the part of Coquette, or in the event of gross or intentional negligence on the part of Coquette. Liability for indirect and/or consequential damages is excluded. In any case, Coquette’ liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer under the agreement. Coquette shall not be held liable for any losses incurred as a result of the unavailability of an item.

 

Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

 

Governing law and competent jurisdiction

All disputes arising out of or in relation to the agreement between the parties shall be governed by Belgian law. Only the courts in Bruges, Belgium, shall have jurisdiction.
